Spyderco Native Chief

This Blade HQ exclusive Native Chief features a satin-finished, full-flat ground blade crafted from Crucible® CPM® M4—a special purpose high speed tool steel produced by the particle metallurgy process. Its sophisticated alloy composition, high vanadium content, and extremely fine grain structure give it exceptional wear resistance and toughness—properties that translate to outstanding edge retention and impact resistance in knife blades.

The handle showcases natural-colored G-10 scales. These peel-ply-textured scales provide a non-slip grip and, along with a stainless steel backspacer, provide support for the knife's precision-machined back lock mechanism. Four sets of threaded inserts in the scales allow for tip-up or tip-down carry on either side of the body, making the carry and operation of this remarkable knife truly ambidextrous.
